LG TVs buying guide

Shop LG TVs in Iraq at Al Bab Al Aaly and enjoy stunning picture quality and a smart viewing experience from one of the best-known names in television. LG is famous for pioneering OLED TVs and offers a wide range, from 4K smart TVs for everyday viewing to premium models for film fans and gamers.

LG TV ranges

  • LG OLED: every pixel lights itself, giving true blacks, infinite contrast and wide viewing angles; the range includes brighter OLED evo models.
  • LG QNED: combines quantum dot technology with a NanoCell layer for rich colours, and some models use Mini LED backlighting for better contrast.
  • LG NanoCell and UHD: affordable 4K smart TVs with good colour for everyday family viewing.

Features you will find on LG TVs

  • webOS: an easy interface with popular streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Shahid.
  • Magic Remote: on many models, it works as a mouse-like pointer with voice control.
  • α (Alpha) processors: use AI to enhance picture and sound and upscale lower-resolution content.
  • HDR support: such as Dolby Vision and HDR10 on many models for a more vivid picture.
  • Gaming features: HDMI 2.1 ports, variable refresh rate (VRR) and 120 Hz on supported models – ideal for PlayStation 5.

How to choose the right LG TV

  • Size and viewing distance: for a 4K TV you can sit roughly 1 to 1.5 times the screen diagonal away, so a 55-inch TV suits about two metres, and 65 inches suits larger living rooms.
  • Technology: OLED for films and darker rooms, QNED for bright rooms and vivid colour, and UHD or NanoCell for value.
  • Use: gamers should look for HDMI 2.1 and 120 Hz, and sports fans benefit from a higher refresh rate for smoother motion.
  • Sound: pair an LG soundbar for bigger sound and WOW Orchestra on supported models.

FAQ

What is the difference between LG OLED and QNED TVs?

In an OLED TV each pixel lights itself, giving true blacks and perfect contrast – ideal for films and darker rooms. QNED uses a backlight with quantum dots, delivering high brightness and vivid colour that suits bright rooms.

What size LG TV is right for my room?

For a 4K TV, sit roughly 1 to 1.5 times the screen diagonal away. For example, a 55-inch TV suits a seating distance of about two metres, while 65 inches or larger suits spacious living rooms.

Are LG TVs good for PlayStation 5?

Yes. Many LG TVs, especially OLED and some QNED models, support HDMI 2.1, 120 Hz, VRR and a low-latency game mode. These features give you smoother, more responsive gameplay on PlayStation 5.

Do LG TVs support streaming apps like Netflix and Shahid?
