The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB is Apple's 2025 flagship and still one of the most powerful and well-balanced phones you can buy, combining pro performance, a versatile camera system and long battery life. Al Bab Al Aaly delivers it brand new and original in the physical SIM version (nano-SIM + eSIM) with a full 1-year warranty. If you are looking for the iPhone 17 Pro Max price in Iraq with excellent value, cash on delivery and delivery to every governorate, here is a complete guide to every feature.

Design and colours

iPhone 17 Pro Max uses an aluminium unibody with a Ceramic Shield 2 front and a Ceramic Shield back. It measures 163.4 x 78.0 x 8.75 mm and weighs 233 g, which is 16 g lighter than iPhone 18 Pro Max.

It comes in three official colours, and you choose the colour you want when you order:

• Cosmic Orange: the boldest, most distinctive colour of this generation.
• Deep Blue: a deep, elegant shade of blue.
• Silver: a bright, classic premium finish.

Display: 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR

The 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display has a 2868 x 1320 resolution at 460 ppi with an anti-reflective coating that reduces glare. ProMotion delivers up to 120Hz, and the display supports Always-On and Dynamic Island.

• 1000 nits typical and up to 1600 nits HDR brightness.
• Up to 3000 nits outdoors for clear viewing in sunlight.
• Down to 1 nit in the dark.
• 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Performance: A19 Pro chip

The A19 Pro chip, built on a 3nm process, has a 6-core CPU, a 6-core GPU with Neural Accelerators for faster AI, and a 16-core Neural Engine. Paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it is extremely fast in games, video editing and multitasking, and has plenty of headroom for years of use.

48MP Pro Fusion camera system

Three rear cameras, all 48MP:

• 48MP Fusion Main camera (24 mm): ƒ/1.78 with second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilisation for sharp, detailed shots day and night.
• 12MP 2x (48 mm): optical-quality framing, perfect for portraits.
• 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide (13 mm): ƒ/2.2 for wide landscapes and group photos.
• 48MP Fusion Telephoto (100 mm): 4x optical zoom at ƒ/2.8 with a tetraprism design.
• 12MP 8x (200 mm): optical-quality zoom for distant subjects.

The system offers up to 16x optical-quality zoom range and up to 40x digital zoom, and a LiDAR Scanner helps with faster low-light focus and augmented reality apps.

Video recording

• 4K Dolby Vision up to 120 fps.
• Cinematic mode in 4K at 30 fps.
• Action mode at 2.8K 60 fps.
• ProRes RAW and Apple Log 2 recording, plus Genlock support for multi-camera professional shoots.
• Dual Capture to record with the front and rear cameras at the same time.

Front camera and Face ID

The 18MP Center Stage front camera with ƒ/1.9 automatically adjusts the frame for group selfies and video calls. Face ID provides secure unlocking and payments.

Battery and charging

The 4823 mAh battery delivers up to 39 hours of video playback and up to 35 hours of streamed video. It charges up to 50% in 20 minutes with a 40W or higher adapter and supports MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W. The USB-C port supports USB 3 at 10Gb/s for fast transfers of large files.

Connectivity and the physical SIM version

The unit we sell is the physical SIM version (nano-SIM + eSIM), with a standard nano-SIM tray for any Iraqi carrier SIM card and eSIM support for a second number. It supports 5G, and the Apple N1 chip brings Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread, along with second-generation Ultra Wideband and NFC.

Durability and water resistance

An IP68 rating for water resistance up to 6 metres plus dust resistance, together with a Ceramic Shield 2 front and Ceramic Shield back, gives better protection against scratches and drops.

Action button and Camera Control

The customisable Action button runs any shortcut you need, and Camera Control is a dedicated button to open the camera, shoot and adjust zoom and settings with a press and a slide of your finger.

iOS and Apple Intelligence

The phone ships with iOS 26 and can be updated to newer versions. It supports Apple Intelligence for writing tools, summaries and photo editing. AI-powered Siri features arrive in English first, and Arabic support is not promised at this time.

Quick comparison: iPhone 17 Pro Max or 18 Pro Max?

• Chip: 3nm A19 Pro on 17 Pro Max versus 2nm A20 Pro on 18 Pro Max.
• Main camera: fixed ƒ/1.78 aperture on 17 Pro Max, while 18 Pro Max has a variable aperture from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4.0.
• Battery: 4823 mAh on 17 Pro Max versus 5391 mAh on 18 Pro Max.
• Fast charging: 50% in 20 minutes with a 40W adapter, versus 50% in about 15 minutes with a 60W adapter on 18 Pro Max.
• Weight: 233 g on 17 Pro Max versus 249 g on 18 Pro Max.

In short: choose 18 Pro Max for the newest chip, the variable-aperture camera and the biggest battery. Choose iPhone 17 Pro Max if you want a lighter flagship at a better price with the same 6.9-inch display and the same 4x and 8x zoom system.
