Description

The ASUS ROG Strix G18 G815LM is the 2025 edition of the ROG Strix G18, pairing an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and a huge 18-inch 240Hz screen. Looking for the ASUS ROG Strix G18 G815LM price in Iraq? This configuration ships with 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and Windows 11 Home, ready to play and work out of the box.

Design and build

It uses the familiar ROG Strix design in a dark grey finish, weighing 3.20 kg and measuring 39.9 x 29.9 x 2.35-3.20 cm. The large chassis leaves room for cooling and a full keyboard with a number pad.

Display

  • 18-inch 2.5K panel, 2560x1600, 16:10.
  • 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time and G-Sync.
  • 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and Pantone Validated, so it also suits photo and video editing.
  • MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus to route the GPU straight to the panel.

Performance

The Core Ultra 9 275HX has 24 cores, boosts up to 5.4GHz and has 36MB of cache, plus an NPU for AI tasks. The RTX 5060 Laptop GPU has 8GB of GDDR7, a ROG Boost clock of 1610MHz and runs at 115W (100W + 15W Dynamic Boost) - about as high as this GPU goes - with DLSS 4 support. At 2560x1600, modern AAA games run well at high settings with DLSS, and esports titles such as Valorant, CS2 and Fortnite can really use the 240Hz panel.

Memory, storage and upgrades

  • 32GB DDR5-5600 dual-channel RAM in two SO-DIMM slots, expandable to 64GB.
  • 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, with two M.2 slots so you can add a second drive later.

Ports and connectivity

  • 1x Thunderbolt 4 (DisplayPort, power delivery, up to 40Gbps).
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (DisplayPort, power delivery, G-SYNC).
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A.
  • HDMI 2.1 FRL, RJ45 LAN and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
  • Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Keyboard, audio, webcam and battery

A 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard with a number pad, plus a 1080p IR webcam for Windows Hello. Audio is a two-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, Smart Amp and AI noise cancelling. The battery is 90Wh and the main charger is 280W.

Who should buy it?

Gamers who want a very large, sharp, fast screen, and creators or developers who need a many-core CPU and 32GB of RAM. At 3.2 kg it is heavy to carry every day, but it makes an excellent desktop replacement.
