Description

The ASUS VG278QR is a 27-inch Full HD (1920×1080) gaming monitor with an ultra-fast TN panel, a 165Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms (GTG) response time. It is built for competitive players in shooters, racing and esports, where every millisecond counts. If you are looking for the ASUS VG278QR price in Iraq with a real warranty, it is one of the strongest options in its class.

165Hz and 0.5ms speed

A 165Hz refresh rate shows far smoother motion than a standard 60Hz screen, and the 0.5ms response time reduces ghosting behind moving objects. ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) keeps fast motion sharper, and GameFast Input technology reduces input lag.

G-SYNC Compatible and Adaptive-Sync

The monitor is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible certified and supports Adaptive-Sync (VRR), syncing with your graphics card to prevent tearing and stutter.

Clear, comfortable picture

  • 400 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast, 16.7 million colours and 100% sRGB.
  • 170°/160° viewing angles and an anti-glare surface.
  • TÜV Flicker-free and Low Blue Light certifications for long sessions.
  • GameVisual and GamePlus tools (crosshair, timer, FPS counter).

Ports and audio

  • DisplayPort 1.2 (up to 165Hz), HDMI 1.4 (up to 120Hz) and Dual-Link DVI (up to 144Hz).
  • Built-in 2W×2 speakers, a headphone jack and PC audio input.

Fully adjustable ergonomic stand

The stand offers tilt (+33° to -5°), swivel (±90°), pivot (±90°) and height adjustment up to 130 mm, plus VESA 100×100 wall mounting.

Who is it for?

  • Players of shooters and esports titles such as CS2, Valorant and Fortnite.
  • Anyone who wants a fast 165Hz monitor at a good price with a fully adjustable stand.
  • NVIDIA graphics card owners who want G-SYNC Compatible play.

Product FAQ

Does the ASUS VG278QR run at 165Hz over HDMI?

No. 165Hz is available over DisplayPort only. The HDMI 1.4 port runs up to 120Hz and Dual-Link DVI up to 144Hz, so use the included DisplayPort cable to get 165Hz.

Does the monitor support G-SYNC and FreeSync?

It is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible certified and supports the Adaptive-Sync variable refresh rate standard, so it works with graphics cards that support it to prevent tearing and stutter.

What is the advantage of the TN panel compared with IPS?

TN panels offer very fast response, here 0.5ms, which is preferred for shooters and esports. IPS panels usually offer wider viewing angles and colour; this monitor still offers 170°/160° viewing angles and 100% sRGB.

Can I wall-mount the monitor or rotate it vertically?

Yes. It supports VESA 100×100 wall mounting, and the stand allows 90° pivot, up to 130 mm height adjustment, ±90° swivel and tilt.

Is there a warranty and delivery in Iraq for the ASUS VG278QR?

Yes. The ASUS VG278QR from Al Bab Al Aaly is genuine with a 1-year warranty, delivery to all Iraqi governorates and cash on delivery.
