Description

BLACK+DECKER RC1860 Electric Rice Cooker – perfect rice every day

The BLACK+DECKER RC1860 electric rice cooker with 1.8 L capacity and 700 W of power makes cooking rice easy and reliable, with no need to watch a pot on the stove. Add rice and water, press one button, and the cooker does the rest before switching automatically to keep-warm.

Design

It comes in a clean white finish with a glass lid so you can watch the rice without lifting it, a cool-touch handle for safe handling, and a removable non-stick inner bowl that lifts out for cleaning. It can also be used for broths and soups.

Performance and capacity

The 1.8 L bowl cooks up to 10 cups of uncooked rice, making it suitable for medium and large families. 700 W gives fast, even cooking, and the cooker can also be used for soups and light broths.

Functions and safety

Two core functions – cook and automatic keep-warm – are shown by indicator lights. When cooking ends, the rice stays warm until serving, so it neither goes cold nor burns.

The technology, simply explained

  • Automatic switch to warm: once the water is absorbed the cooker moves to keep-warm by itself.
  • Water level indicator: helps you add the right amount of water for perfect results.
  • Steaming tray: steam vegetables or fish above the rice at the same time.
  • Power use: 700 W is about 3.2 A, so it runs easily on a generator subscription.
  • Cleaning: the inner bowl lifts out and washes in minutes.

Product FAQ

How much rice can the RC1860 cook?

The cooker holds 1.8 L and cooks up to 10 cups of uncooked rice. That makes it suitable for medium and large families.

Does it keep the rice warm after cooking?

Yes. It switches automatically from cook to keep-warm when cooking is done, with an indicator light showing the mode. The rice stays warm until you serve it.

How do I clean the rice cooker?

Unplug it and let it cool, then lift out the inner bowl and wash it with warm water and a soft sponge. Wipe the glass lid and outer body with a damp cloth and never immerse the base in water.

How much power does the BLACK+DECKER RC1860 rice cooker use, and can it run on a generator?

It is rated at 700 W, which is roughly 3.2 A at 220 V while heating. It can run on a neighbourhood generator subscription as long as your ampere allowance covers this load plus the other appliances running at the same time.

Does the BLACK+DECKER RC1860 rice cooker come with a warranty in Iraq?

Yes. When bought from Al Bab Al Aaly it comes with a full 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. You can also pay cash on delivery, with delivery to every Iraqi governorate.
