Corsair K70 PRO RGB White Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard OPX Switches PBT 8000Hz

The Corsair K70 PRO RGB White with OPX switches is a full-size optical-mechanical gaming keyboard built for players who want the fastest possible response, long-term durability and a clean white look that suits white builds. It pairs CORSAIR OPX optical-mechanical switches with AXON hyper-processing at up to 8,000Hz, PBT DOUBLE-SHOT keycaps and a durable aluminum frame.

Design and build

A durable aluminum frame keeps the keyboard rigid and planted on your desk. The double-shot PBT keycaps are 1.5 mm thick, so legends never wear off and the caps resist fading and shine even after heavy use. They follow a standard bottom-row layout, so you can swap in custom keycap sets later.

In the box you get a magnetic, soft-touch palm rest that snaps onto the keyboard, with a patterned surface for grip and comfort during long gaming or work sessions. There are also dedicated media keys, a volume roller and adjustable height feet.

Performance and key specs

• CORSAIR OPX linear optical-mechanical switches with a 1.0 mm actuation distance, guaranteed for 150 million keystrokes.
• AXON hyper-processing with up to 8,000Hz polling and 4,000Hz key scanning, for up to 8x faster responsiveness than conventional gaming keyboards.
• Full NKRO with complete anti-ghosting, so every key press registers no matter how many keys you hit at once.
• 8MB onboard memory storing up to 50 profiles with custom macros and actions.
• Per-key RGB backlighting with up to 20 lighting layers.

Connectivity and compatibility

The keyboard is wired through a detachable braided USB Type-C cable and needs a USB 3.0 or 3.1 Type-A port. It works with PCs running Windows 10 or later, Macs running macOS 10.15 or later, and Xbox One.

Technologies in plain words

OPX optical switches register each press with a beam of light instead of metal contacts, so actuation is almost instant. iCUE software lets you customise per-key lighting, remap keys and set the polling rate, and you can also record macros on the fly through the function layer. The tournament switch locks the backlight to a static, distraction-free colour, while the Windows lock key stops you from dropping out of a game by accident.
