The CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) 6400MT/s CL32 in white (part number CMH64GX5M2B6400C32W) is a dual-channel desktop memory kit from Corsair's popular VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 series. It contains two 32GB modules for 64GB in total, rated at a tested speed of 6400MT/s with CL32 latency at 1.4V once the Intel XMP 3.0 profile is enabled; out of the box it runs at the JEDEC default of 4800MT/s.

Design

Each module wears an aluminium heatspreader that keeps temperatures in check during long gaming sessions and heavy workloads, topped by a dynamic RGB light bar whose colours and effects you can control in CORSAIR iCUE software and synchronise with the rest of your system. The white finish gives a clean, coordinated look, and the modules use the standard 288-pin UDIMM form factor.

The kit ships with an Intel XMP 3.0 profile and is optimised for Intel 700 and 800 Series motherboards (LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets). It can also be installed on DDR5 AMD AM5 boards, but reaching 6400MT/s there depends on the motherboard and processor, and manual tuning may be required.
The kit requires a DDR5 desktop motherboard; it does not work in DDR4 boards or laptops. Install both modules in the slots recommended by your motherboard manual (usually A2 and B2) to enable dual-channel mode.

Is the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 64GB 6400MT/s kit compatible with my motherboard?

It works with DDR5 desktop motherboards such as Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 boards and AMD AM5 boards. It does not fit DDR4 boards or laptops, so check the memory type in your motherboard's specifications.

How do I run the RAM at 6400MT/s?

Enter the BIOS and enable XMP. Without it the RAM runs at the default 4800MT/s, which is normal and not a fault.

Is 64GB worth it for gaming?

Most games are fine with 32GB, but 64GB gives full headroom when you game while streaming, recording or running many apps, and it is ideal for video editing, design and virtual machines.

Can I mix this kit with other RAM?
