Product FAQ
How many Cudy M1200 units do I need?
A 2-Pack covers up to 160 m² and a 3-Pack up to 220 m² according to Cudy. For two-storey homes or many concrete walls, the 3-Pack is recommended.
Is it suitable for an FTTH fiber plan?
It suits plans up to 100 Mbps because its ports are 10/100. If your plan is faster than 100 Mbps, choose a Mesh system with Gigabit ports.
Does it work with other Cudy devices?
Yes. It supports Cudy Mesh with wireless or wired backhaul, so you can add more compatible Cudy units later to expand the network.
How do I set up the system?
Set up the main unit using the Cudy app or web page, then power on the other units and they auto-sync. You can then manage the network remotely in the app.
Does it support VPN?
Yes. It works as a VPN server and client with WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, Zerotier, PPTP and L2TP, and VPN can be toggled per device.
