Description

The Cudy RE1200 range extender is an AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi extender that carries your internet to distant rooms and upper floors where the router's signal is weak. It works with any Wi-Fi router: just press the WPS buttons on the router and the extender to expand your network in seconds, at an economical Cudy RE1200 price in Iraq.

Design

A compact plug-in unit measuring 80×60×38 mm and weighing only 98 g, it goes straight into a wall socket with no adapter or extra cables. A signal-strength LED helps you find the best spot, and it has WPS and Reset buttons.

Wi-Fi performance and coverage

  • AC1200 class: up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz + up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.
  • 2 spatial streams (2×2) on each band with FEM/PA/LNA amplifiers for a stronger signal.
  • Maximum open-space range of up to 150 m; passes two wooden walls or one concrete wall thinner than 20 cm.
  • Comfortably handles up to 30 connected devices.

Ports and connectivity

One 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port lets you wire a smart TV, PC or console, and can also link the extender to the router by cable (wired backhaul). Operation modes: Range Extender, Access Point and Client.

The technology, simply explained

  • Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac): the 5 GHz band is faster and less crowded than 2.4 GHz.
  • MU-MIMO: serves several devices at once on 5 GHz.
  • Cudy Mesh Satellite: paired with a Cudy router or system that supports Cudy Mesh, it becomes a mesh satellite so you roam between rooms on one network name.
  • Multi-Band Backhaul: uses both bands together to link to the router and keep speeds up.
  • WPA3: modern encryption to protect your network.

Who is it for?

Ideal for Iraqi homes with concrete walls where bedrooms, the second floor or the garden suffer from weak Wi-Fi, and for anyone who wants a quick, affordable fix without replacing their current router. Install it halfway between the router and the weak area, and avoid chaining more than 3 extenders in a row.

Product FAQ

Does the RE1200 work with my ISP's router?

Yes, it works with any Wi-Fi router regardless of brand. Press WPS on the router and then on the extender, or finish setup from the Cudy app or the web page.

Where should I place the extender?

Place it halfway between the router and the weak room, where it still receives a good router signal. The signal-strength LED helps you choose the right spot.

Does it support mesh with other Cudy devices?

Yes, it works as a Cudy Mesh Satellite with Cudy routers and systems that support Cudy Mesh, giving you one network with seamless roaming. It supports wireless or wired backhaul to the router.

Will the extender reduce my internet speed?

Thanks to Multi-Band Backhaul it uses both bands together to minimise speed loss compared with single-band extenders. Real speed depends on distance from the router and the number of walls.

What about warranty and payment?

The extender comes with a full 1-year warranty from Al-Bab Al-Aali and you pay cash on delivery. We ship to every governorate in Iraq.
