The EZVIZ CB3 (AOV Version) is a wire-free outdoor camera that runs on battery and Wi-Fi, and its headline feature is Always-On Video: instead of only saving short clips when something moves, it keeps recording throughout the day. Mount it on a wall, gate or porch without running a single power cable.
Standalone design, simple installation
The EZVIZ CB3 has a compact cylindrical body measuring 153 × 63 × 63 mm and weighing about 223 g, and the box includes a screw base, drill template and screw kit. No hub is needed: the camera connects straight to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is set up through Bluetooth and the EZVIZ app.
Image quality and night vision
A 1/2.8-inch 3MP sensor behind a 2.8 mm F1.6 lens records 2K video at 2304 × 1296 with a 130° diagonal field of view. After dark you can choose infrared black-and-white or colour night vision lit by the camera's own spotlights, each with a 15 m range.
Battery and storage
The 5,200 mAh battery is rated for up to 120 days in EZVIZ's standard test of five minutes of activity per day, and it can be paired with an EZVIZ Type-C solar panel sold separately. Footage goes to a microSD card up to 512 GB or to EZVIZ CloudPlay.
