Description
The EZVIZ DP2C smart door viewer replaces the old peephole in your door with a digital camera and an indoor screen, so you can see visitors clearly without leaning against the door. It is also a video doorbell that notifies your phone wherever you are. The EZVIZ DP2C price in Iraq makes it one of the easiest ways to add smart security to an apartment door.
Design and installation
An outdoor unit measuring 71 × 71 × 48.3 mm fits into the peephole hole (16.5–50 mm diameter), and an indoor screen with base measures 115.5 × 85.5 × 24.5 mm, with a total weight of 302 g. It suits doors 35–105 mm thick and needs no wiring at all. The outdoor camera has an anti-prying design, and it comes in silver and gold.
Camera and screen
A 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and a 2.0 mm F2.2 lens with a 155° diagonal view record 1080p at 15 fps. At night the ICR filter switches to infrared vision up to 5 m. The indoor 4.3-inch colour screen can be woken with a dedicated button.
Connectivity and storage
802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz, with AES-128 encryption and TLS transmission. It takes a microSD card up to 512GB (sold separately) and supports cloud storage in some markets.
Technologies in plain words
- PIR sensor: detects human body heat in front of the door across 110° and up to 6 m, then records and alerts you, with adjustable sensitivity.
- Two-way talk: a built-in microphone and speaker let you speak with visitors locally or remotely.
- 4600mAh battery lasting up to 90 days in power-saving mode (5 minutes of use a day).
Who should buy it?
Ideal for apartments and renters, anyone who does not want to run wires, and elderly people or children who find a normal peephole hard to use.
