The FingerTec Face ID 2 is a time attendance and access control terminal that combines face recognition and fingerprint that helps organisations record staff working hours accurately and manage entry to the premises without paper registers or punch cards. It gives a clear view of each employee's arrival and departure times and makes record tampering much harder.
Design
The unit uses an ABS body with an acrylic front and a 4.3-inch 65K-colour TFT touch screen that makes menus and enrolment easy. It measures 194 × 110 × 145 mm, runs from a DC 12V 3A adaptor and mounts on the wall with the supplied back plate.
