Description

The GIGABYTE AORUS WATERFORCE II 240 is an all-in-one (AIO) CPU liquid cooler from the AORUS line, with a 240mm radiator and 2 × 120mm ARGB fans. It is built to give modern processors strong cooling with a clean look and easier installation.

Design

The aluminium radiator measures 277 × 119 × 27 mm, while the pump head uses a copper base to move heat quickly from the CPU into the coolant. ARGB lighting on the fans and pump head is synchronised for a consistent look.

Performance and key specs

  • Radiator: 240mm aluminium, 277 × 119 × 27 mm.
  • Pump: 72.8 × 72.8 × 65.1 mm, 1600–3400 RPM, with a copper base.
  • Fans: 2 × 120mm ARGB at 800–2300 RPM with HDB (hydro dynamic) bearings.
  • Airflow: 64.95 CFM with 2.93 mmH2O air pressure.
  • Noise level: 12.8–36.9 dBA.
  • Tubing: 380mm rubber tubes with a braided nylon sleeve.

Compatibility and control

The cooler supports Intel 115x / 1200 / 1700 / 1851 and AMD AM5 / AM4 sockets, covering most modern Intel and AMD platforms. Fan and pump speeds can be controlled from any motherboard thanks to the universal design, and the ARGB lighting syncs with your other components.

Technologies in plain words

An AIO liquid cooler carries heat through a sealed liquid loop from the CPU to the radiator, where the fans push it out of the case, so the CPU stays cooler and quieter under load than with many air coolers, with no refilling or maintenance needed. Fan EZ-Chain means the fans slide in and lock together, passing power and signal from one fan to the next without a separate cable for each fan, so installation is faster and the case stays tidy. The 330-degree rotatable water block lets you keep the logo and lighting upright whatever the radiator orientation. A new fan blade design raises airflow and pressure while reducing noise.

Who should buy it?

It suits Core i5, Ryzen 5, Core i7 and Ryzen 7 CPUs for gaming, video editing and heavy work, and anyone who wants tidy ARGB looks at a sensible price, as long as the case supports a 240mm radiator. The AORUS WATERFORCE II 240 price in Iraq at Al-Bab Al-Aali offers excellent value.
