Description

The LG 20MP48A is an affordable 19.5-inch IPS monitor with 1440×900 resolution in a 16:10 format – a good fit for anyone comparing small LG monitor prices in Iraq for the office, a cash register, a CCTV system or as a second screen next to a laptop, with more accurate colour than typical TN screens.

Design

A glossy black design with slim bezels and elegant bevelled edges, plus a detachable base that tilts from -3 to 20 degrees. With the stand it measures 441.9 × 376.3 × 187.4 mm and weighs only 2.1 kg, so it fits small desks and reception counters.

Picture quality

  • AH-IPS panel with 178/178° viewing angles, so colours stay consistent from any seat.
  • 1440×900 in 16:10 gives extra vertical space compared with a 16:9 screen of the same size – useful for documents, spreadsheets and web pages.
  • 16.7 million colours, 72% colour gamut, 200 cd/m² brightness and Mega DFC contrast.
  • 5ms response time and an anti-glare surface.
  • Six Axis Control, Picture Mode and Smart Energy Saving to tune the picture and save power.

Connectivity

One HDMI and one D-Sub (VGA) input let it work with modern and older PCs and CCTV DVR recorders. It is Windows 10 compatible and supports Plug & Play and DDC/CI.

Technologies explained

  • Flicker Safe removes backlight flicker to reduce eye strain during long working hours.
  • IPS panel: truer colours and wider viewing angles than the TN panels common in this price class.

Ready for Iraqi power conditions

The monitor runs from an external power adapter rated 100–240 V, so it copes with the voltage swings when switching between grid power and the neighbourhood generator. Its low consumption (about 15 W when on and under 0.5 W in sleep) is easy on a limited generator ampere subscription or a UPS during power cuts.

Who is it for?

Businesses, offices, shops, internet cafés, CCTV setups and students – anyone who wants a compact IPS screen at a fair price in Iraq with cash on delivery.

Product FAQ

Is the LG 20MP48A good for PC and PlayStation?

It connects easily to a PC over HDMI or VGA and a PlayStation can be connected over HDMI, but it is a 1440×900 office monitor rather than a gaming screen. For gaming we recommend a larger Full HD model with a higher refresh rate.

What is the benefit of the IPS panel?

An IPS panel keeps colour and brightness consistent even from the side, up to 178°, and gives more accurate colour than TN panels. That helps when you share the screen with a colleague or customer.

Can I mount this monitor on the wall?

According to LG's official specifications this monitor does not support VESA wall mounting; it is designed to stand on its included base.

How much power does it use?

About 15 W when on and under 0.3 W in sleep, so it runs easily on a generator subscription or a UPS.

What warranty and payment options do I get from Albab Alaly?

You get a full 1-year warranty on the monitor, and you pay cash on delivery after checking the product. We deliver to every Iraqi governorate.
