Description

The LG 24M38A is a 24-inch class (23.6-inch viewable) Full HD LED monitor with a TN panel, and one of the most popular choices for anyone comparing LG office monitor prices in Iraq for offices, government departments, internet cafés and everyday home use.

Design

A sleek black design with a hairline-textured front and a glossy detachable stand that tilts from -5 to 20 degrees. Without the stand it measures 556.2 × 344 × 56.8 mm, it weighs just 2.8 kg with the stand, and it can be mounted on a wall or desk arm with a VESA 100×100 pattern.

Picture and performance

  • Full HD 1920×1080 resolution in 16:9 with 72% colour gamut and 16.7 million colours.
  • 5ms response time to reduce motion blur in videos.
  • 200 cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 native contrast (5M:1 dynamic) and 170/160° viewing angles.
  • Anti-glare 3H surface to cut reflections from office lighting.

Connectivity and software

The monitor has a D-Sub (VGA) input, the most common video output on office desktop PCs. OnScreen Control lets you adjust settings with your mouse and split the screen into 4 areas, and Intelligent Auto adjustment and Key Lock are included.

Eye-comfort technologies

  • Reader Mode reduces blue light during long reading and data-entry sessions.
  • Flicker Safe minimises invisible flicker that causes eye strain.
  • Color Weakness mode helps users with colour-vision deficiency.
  • Smart Energy Saving automatically lowers power use.

Ready for Iraqi power conditions

The monitor runs from an external power adapter rated 100–240 V, so it copes with the voltage swings when switching between grid power and the neighbourhood generator. Its low consumption (about 25 W when on and under 0.5 W in sleep) is easy on a limited generator ampere subscription or a UPS during power cuts.

Who is it for?

Offices, companies, government departments, internet cafés and students who need a reliable Full HD monitor at a budget price in Iraq with cash on delivery – especially for PCs with a VGA output.

Product FAQ

Does the LG 24M38A have an HDMI port?

No. According to LG's official specifications the 24M38A has a D-Sub (VGA) input only. If your device only has HDMI you can use an HDMI-to-VGA adapter, or choose an LG monitor with HDMI.

Is it suitable for PS5 or gaming?

This monitor is designed for office work and everyday use, and because it has no HDMI input it does not connect directly to a PS5. For gaming we recommend an LG UltraGear or an IPS monitor with HDMI.

Can I mount this monitor on the wall?

Yes. It is VESA compatible with a 100×100 mm pattern and the stand is detachable, so it fits a standard wall mount or desk arm. The bracket is sold separately.

How much power does it use?

LG rates typical consumption at 25 W (19 W EPA) and 0.3 W or less in sleep mode, and it runs from a 100–240 V adapter, so it works well on generator power or a UPS.

What warranty and payment options do I get from Albab Alaly?

You get a full 1-year warranty on the monitor, and you pay cash on delivery after checking the product. We deliver to every Iraqi governorate.
