Description

The LG 24MS500 is a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS monitor from LG's 2024 line-up with a 100Hz refresh rate. If you are comparing LG PC monitor prices in Iraq, it combines sharp picture quality, smoother motion and eye-comfort features for study, office work and casual gaming.

Design

A 3-side virtually borderless design gives you more viewing area and a modern look, and makes it ideal for a dual-monitor setup. Without the stand it measures 539.9 × 321.4 × 56.2 mm and it weighs 2.6 kg with the stand. It tilts from -5 to 15 degrees and can be wall-mounted with VESA 75×75.

Performance and picture

  • IPS panel, 1920×1080 resolution, 92.56 PPI and 178° viewing angles, so colours stay consistent from any position.
  • 100Hz refresh rate makes scrolling, cursor movement and games visibly smoother than typical 60Hz monitors.
  • 5ms (GtG) response, 250 cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 contrast and 16.7 million colours with 72% NTSC gamut.
  • Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync and Crosshair for gaming, plus Super Resolution+ for sharper images.

Connectivity and software

Two HDMI inputs (HDCP 1.4) let you connect a PC and a second device such as a PlayStation or satellite receiver at the same time, with Auto Input Switch and a headphone output. OnScreen Control lets you adjust settings and split the screen with your mouse.

Eye-comfort technologies

  • Reader Mode reduces blue light during long reading and study sessions.
  • Flicker Safe minimises invisible flicker that causes eye strain.
  • Color Weakness mode helps users with colour-vision deficiency.

Ready for Iraqi power conditions

The monitor runs from an external power adapter rated 100–240 V, so it copes with the voltage swings between grid power and the neighbourhood generator. Its low consumption (about 16 W when on and under 0.5 W in sleep) is easy on a limited generator ampere subscription or a UPS during power cuts.

Who is it for?

Students, office workers, small businesses and casual gamers who want a 100Hz IPS monitor at a fair price in Iraq with cash on delivery.

Product FAQ

Is the LG 24MS500 good for PS5 and PC?

Yes. It works with a PC and PS5 over HDMI at Full HD. You can use 100Hz with a PC, while a PlayStation typically runs at 60Hz in 1080p on it – great for everyday gaming, though it is not a pro esports monitor.

Does it support HDR or G-SYNC?

LG's official specifications do not list HDR or G-SYNC support; this is a Full HD monitor for daily work and casual gaming. Its 100Hz refresh with Dynamic Action Sync and Black Stabilizer still feels smoother than 60Hz screens.

Can I mount this monitor on the wall?

Yes. It is VESA compatible with a 75×75 mm pattern, so it fits a standard wall mount or desk arm. The wall bracket is sold separately.

What's in the box?

According to LG's official page: stand body, stand base, screw, power adapter with power cord, and an HDMI cable.

What warranty and payment options do I get from Albab Alaly?

You get a full 1-year warranty on the monitor, and you pay cash on delivery after checking the product. We deliver to every Iraqi governorate.
