Description

The MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G SHADOW 3X OC graphics card is the lightest triple-fan RTX 5070 Ti in MSI's range at just 994 g, and it carries NVIDIA's SFF-Ready badge for compatibility with smaller cases. It pairs the Blackwell GPU and 16GB of GDDR7 with a no-frills design, making it a value-focused way to get RTX 5070 Ti performance.

Practical, lightweight design

The card measures 303 x 121 x 49 mm and uses three TORX FAN 5.0 fans. Ring arcs link blades tilted at 22 degrees, which MSI says increases airflow by 23% compared with axial fans. Below them sits a large heatsink with a nickel-plated copper baseplate and square-contact core pipes, while a reinforcing backplate with an airflow vent protects the rear. A support stand is included in the box.

Gaming and creative performance

The RTX 5070 Ti GPU brings 8960 CUDA cores with 16GB of 28 Gbps GDDR7 on a 256-bit bus. Boost clock is 2482 MHz by default and 2497 MHz in MSI Center's Extreme Performance mode, slightly above reference. That is enough for very high frame rates at 1440p and smooth 4K gaming with DLSS 4. Power draw is 300W and MSI recommends a 750W PSU.

Ports

PCI Express 5.0 interface, three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b port supporting up to 4K 480Hz or 8K 120Hz with DSC. Four monitors can be connected.

Technologies explained

  • DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation: AI multiplies frame rates in demanding games.
  • Ray tracing: lifelike lighting, shadows and reflections.
  • Zero Frozr: fans stop entirely under light loads for silent operation.
  • NVIDIA Reflex: lower input latency for competitive titles.

Who is it for?

SHADOW 3X OC is ideal for builders using mid-size cases, buyers looking for the best value in the RTX 5070 Ti class, and creators who benefit from 16GB of VRAM.

Product FAQ

Does the MSI RTX 5070 Ti SHADOW 3X OC fit small cases?

It carries the SFF-Ready badge at 303 mm long and 49 mm thick. Still, confirm that your case supports this length before buying.

How does SHADOW 3X OC differ from VENTUS 3X OC?

Both share the same dimensions and the same 2497 MHz boost clock. SHADOW is lighter (994 g vs 1073 g) and has a different shroud design.

What PSU wattage is required?

MSI recommends a 750W PSU because the card draws 300W. Power comes through one 16-pin connector, ideally from an ATX 3.1 unit.

Does the card support DLSS 4?

Yes, every RTX 50 card supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. It raises frame rates considerably in supported games.

What warranty and payment options are available?

The card includes a one-year warranty from Al Bab Al Aali. Cash on delivery is available with shipping to all Iraqi governorates.
