Description
The Redragon M998-ULT Ebony is one of Redragon's top-tier wireless gaming mice, built around the flagship PixArt PAW3950 sensor with up to 30,000 DPI and an 8000Hz polling rate, plus a magnetic charging dock and tri-mode connectivity. If you are looking for the Redragon M998-ULT price in Iraq in Ebony Black, this mouse delivers tournament-level performance at a sensible price.
Design
The M998-ULT has an ergonomic right-hand shape measuring 124 × 68 × 43 mm, giving the palm full support during long sessions and suiting both palm and claw grips. The Ebony Black finish looks clean and understated, and the main clicks use Huano switches rated for 10 million clicks. A magnetic charging dock is included: just set the mouse on it after playing and it charges without plugging in a cable.
Performance and sensor
- PixArt PAW3950 sensor with up to 30,000 DPI
- 750 IPS tracking speed and 50G acceleration
- 8000Hz polling rate
- Huano switches rated for 10 million clicks
- Redragon software to set DPI, buttons and polling rate
Connectivity and battery
The Redragon M998-ULT supports three connection modes: USB-C wired, 2.4GHz wireless with up to 8000Hz polling, and Bluetooth for portable devices. The 400mAh battery lasts about 50 hours, with real-world runtime depending on the polling rate you choose. It works with Windows and macOS.
Technology in plain words
DPI is the mouse sensitivity: the higher it is, the further the cursor moves for the same hand movement, and you can lower it for precise aiming. The polling rate is how many times per second the mouse reports its position to the computer; the higher it is, the smoother and more responsive the motion feels. Tri-mode means you can use the mouse with a cable, with the 2.4GHz wireless receiver, or over Bluetooth depending on the device. An 8000Hz (8K) polling rate means the mouse reports its position 8,000 times per second instead of 1,000, cutting latency and making motion look smoother on high-refresh monitors.
Who is it for?
It is ideal for competitive FPS players in games like Valorant and CS2 who use 144Hz or faster monitors and want the lowest latency, and for anyone who wants a comfortable right-hand mouse with a dock that keeps the desk tidy.
