Description

The WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe SSD 1TB with Heatsink (part number WDS100T2XHE) is one of the fastest PCIe Gen4 gaming drives, with sequential reads up to 7,300MB/s and writes up to 6,300MB/s. If you are looking for the WD_BLACK SN850X 1TB heatsink price in Iraq for a PS5 or a powerful gaming PC, this version ships with a pre-installed heatsink that keeps performance steady during long sessions.

Design

The drive uses the standard M.2 2280 form factor with a pre-installed black heatsink, measuring 80 x 23.4 x 8.9 mm and weighing about 24 g. The heatsink lowers drive temperature and helps prevent throttling during large file transfers and game loading.

Performance

  • Up to 7,300MB/s sequential read: faster loading of games, applications and the operating system.
  • Up to 6,300MB/s sequential write: fast copying and moving of large files.
  • Random performance: up to 800K IOPS read and 1,100K IOPS write for snappy everyday responsiveness.
  • TLC 3D NAND: endurance rated at 600 TBW.

Compatibility and Connectivity

  • PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe interface, also backward compatible with PCIe Gen3 slots at lower speed.
  • Compatible with PlayStation 5 for expanding game storage; the heatsink version suits the PS5 expansion slot.
  • Operating temperature from 0 to 85 °C.

Technologies in Plain Words

  • NVMe: a modern protocol that connects the drive directly to the CPU over PCIe, making it several times faster than SATA SSDs.
  • Game Mode 2.0: a feature in the WD_BLACK Dashboard for Windows that improves drive responsiveness while gaming.
  • TBW: the total amount of data that can be written over the drive's life; 600 TB is a lot for home use.

Who Is It For?

Ideal for PS5 owners who want more storage, and for PC gamers and creators who want a very fast system drive with a ready-made heatsink.
