Design and colours
iPhone 17 has an aluminium design with a Ceramic Shield 2 front and a colour-infused glass back. It measures 149.6 x 71.5 x 7.95 mm and weighs 177 g, so it is very comfortable to use with one hand.
It comes in five official colours, and you choose the colour you want when you order:
- Lavender: a soft, modern shade.
- Sage: a calm green tone.
- Mist Blue: a light, easy-on-the-eye blue.
- White: clean and classic.
- Black: elegant and suits everyone.
Display: 6.3-inch with ProMotion
The 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display has a 2622 x 1206 resolution at 460 ppi, with ProMotion up to 120Hz.
- 1000 nits typical and up to 1600 nits HDR brightness.
- Up to 3000 nits outdoors and down to 1 nit in the dark.
- 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
Performance: A19 chip
The A19 chip has a 6-core CPU (2 performance and 4 efficiency cores), a 5-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and a 16-core Neural Engine. It is fast and smooth in games, apps and Apple Intelligence features, and 256GB of storage gives room for years of photos and videos.
