Description

The ASUS ROG Strix Evolve P302 gaming mouse is a wired ROG mouse built around a unique idea: interchangeable top covers that let you change the mouse shape to match your palm, claw or fingertip grip. It combines a 7200 DPI optical sensor, Aura RGB lighting and an ambidextrous design that suits both right- and left-handed players.

Design and swappable covers

The mouse measures 125 × 65 × 41 mm and weighs about 100 g, a balanced weight that keeps your aim steady. The box includes two extra sets of top covers that change the height and curve of the back, so you can pick the shape that fits your hand without buying another mouse. The symmetric shape works for left-handed players too, topped with an RGB-lit ROG logo.

Performance and specs

It uses an optical sensor adjustable from 50 to 7200 DPI with a 1000Hz polling rate, 30G acceleration and 150 IPS tracking, giving accurate tracking in shooters and strategy games. It has 8 buttons with Omron switches rated for 50 million clicks to survive years of long gaming sessions.

Compatibility and connectivity

The mouse connects to your PC via a USB-A cable and works out of the box. Buttons, DPI levels and lighting can be customised in ASUS Armoury software, and the lighting syncs with other ASUS gear through Aura Sync.

The technology in plain words

A 1000Hz polling rate means the mouse reports its position to the PC a thousand times per second, so movement feels instant. Omron switches are well-known Japanese switches valued for durability and a crisp click.

Who is it for?

It suits shooter and MOBA players looking for a durable mouse with a customisable shape, left-handed gamers, and anyone who wants their lighting matched with ASUS ROG gear.
