Description

The Cooler Master MM720 RGB gaming mouse is an ultra-light mouse at just 49 g, designed by Cooler Master for claw-grip fans with a short, high back that fills the palm. This glossy white version adds 2-zone RGB lighting and combines a PixArt PMW3389 sensor at up to 16000 DPI with optical switches rated for 70 million clicks.

Design

It measures 105.42 × 76.52 × 37.35 mm, short and wide in a way that suits claw grip, and palm grip for small to medium hands. The honeycomb ABS shell keeps weight at 49 g, while the glossy white finish gives a distinctive look that makes the 2-zone RGB lighting stand out.

Performance and specs

It uses a PixArt PMW3389 sensor with seven DPI levels (400, 800, 1200, 1600, 3200, 6400 and 16000 DPI), 400 IPS tracking, 50G acceleration and a 1000Hz polling rate. Its 6 buttons use LK optical switches rated for 70 million clicks, the scroll wheel has an optical encoder, and a 32-bit ARM Cortex M0+ processor with 512 KB memory stores your settings.

Compatibility and connectivity

It connects through a fixed 1.8 m Ultraweave USB cable, and the PTFE feet glide smoothly on any mouse pad. DPI, lighting and buttons can be tuned in Cooler Master MasterPlus+ and saved to the onboard memory.

The technology in plain words

Optical switches register a click with a light beam instead of metal contacts, so they are faster, last longer and avoid double-clicking. Claw grip means your palm rests on the back of the mouse while your fingertips arch over the buttons, a fast style for shooters.

Who is it for?

It suits shooter players who use a claw grip, small to medium hands, and anyone wanting a glossy white RGB mouse to complete a white gaming build.

Product FAQ

Is the MM720 good for palm grip?

It is designed mainly for claw grip, but its high back also suits palm grip for small to medium hands.

What is the difference between the MM720 and MM710?

The MM720 is shorter and wider, built for claw grip, weighs 49 g and adds RGB and optical switches, while the MM710 is longer, symmetric and has no lighting.

Can I control the lighting and DPI?

Yes. MasterPlus+ lets you set both lighting zones, DPI and buttons and save them to the mouse memory.

How long do the switches last?

The LK optical switches are rated for 70 million clicks and avoid the double-click issue common with mechanical switches.

Does the Cooler Master MM720 come with a warranty in Iraq?

Yes. It comes with a full 1-year warranty from Al Bab Al Aali covering manufacturing defects. You can also pay cash on delivery anywhere in Iraq.
