Description

The CORSAIR K55 CORE RGB is a full-size wired USB gaming keyboard designed as an affordable entry into CORSAIR gaming keyboards, with eye-catching RGB lighting and quiet keys that work equally well for play and work.

Design

It has a full 110-key layout including the number pad, 6 dedicated macro keys on the side and media keys for playback control. The light chassis weighs about 341 g and is spill-resistant up to 300 ml, giving peace of mind if tea or coffee ends up on the desk. A tangle-free rubber cable completes the package.

Performance and lighting

Quiet rubber dome keys give soft presses without disturbing noise, with a 1,000 Hz polling rate and 12-key rollover to register up to 12 simultaneous presses accurately. Lighting is 10-zone RGB with 16.8 million colours, customisable together with macros in iCUE.

Compatibility

It works with any PC with a USB 2.0 port or newer and supports Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.15 or later. If you are comparing the CORSAIR K55 CORE price in Iraq, it is one of the best value gaming keyboards from a global brand.

The technology in plain words

  • Rubber dome (membrane) keys: soft, quiet presses that suit home, office and late-night sessions without disturbing anyone.
  • 12-key rollover with anti-ghosting: up to 12 keys pressed at once are registered accurately, more than enough for most games.
  • Macro keys: store a long sequence of commands and fire it with one press.
  • iCUE: CORSAIR's free software for lighting and macro programming.

Who is it for?

It suits new gamers, students and anyone who wants a quiet keyboard with attractive lighting for gaming, study and office work on a sensible budget.
