The Redragon M917GB-PRO ST4R is a gaming mouse built around the PixArt PAW3395 optical sensor with up to 26,000 DPI and a 1,000Hz polling rate, a practical choice if you are checking the Redragon M917GB-PRO ST4R price in Iraq. It offers three connection modes: a USB-C cable, a 2.4GHz wireless receiver and Bluetooth.

Design and comfort

The mouse weighs 63g and measures 123 × 64 × 34 mm. It uses an ambidextrous shape with side buttons on the left. The PTFE feet give a smooth glide. Switches: Huano Blue. The cable is 1.5 m long. It features RGB lighting on the scroll wheel. It has 6 buttons so you can map actions to your game.

Performance and precision

The mouse relies on the PixArt PAW3395 sensor for fast and precise tracking up to 26,000 DPI. A 1,000Hz polling rate means movement reaches the computer with minimal delay, with acceleration of up to 50G and a tracking speed of 650 IPS, which suits fast shooters and action games.

Connectivity and battery

It supports three connection modes: a USB-C cable, a 2.4GHz wireless receiver and Bluetooth. The 400mAh battery lasts up to 80-100 hours according to the specifications. Supported systems: Windows. Highlights: onboard memory plus DPI and RGB customisation. It supports onboard memory to store your settings. Supported software: Redragon ST4R Pro software.

Technologies explained simply

DPI measures cursor sensitivity: the higher the value, the further the cursor travels for a smaller hand movement, and you can tune it to your screen size and play style. Polling rate is how many times per second the mouse reports its position to the computer; a higher value gives faster and smoother updates. The optical sensor reads the surface with light and turns it into accurate cursor motion. Tri-mode connectivity lets you switch between the cable, 2.4GHz and Bluetooth depending on your device and situation.

Who is it for?

It suits gamers who want a mouse with clear specifications at a fair price for PC gaming, and it works just as well for daily work and study.
