Description
The Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch 2TB is a portable SSD that combines high speed with advanced security. It has a built-in fingerprint sensor that unlocks the drive with a single touch, and reads at up to 1,050 MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2.
Design
The T7 Touch has a sleek metal body measuring 85 × 57 × 8 mm and weighing 58 g, with a ring LED indicator around the fingerprint sensor that shows the drive's status. With no moving parts, it handles bumps and vibration better than a traditional external hard drive.
Performance and key specs
- Read speed: up to 1,050 MB/s.
- Write speed: up to 1,000 MB/s.
- Port: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) with a Type-C connector.
- Security: fingerprint (up to 4 prints) with a backup password and AES 256-bit encryption.
- Capacity: 2TB plenty of room for a full 4K video archive and backups of several devices.
Connectivity and compatibility
It ships with two cables, USB Type-C to C and USB Type-C to A, and works with Windows PCs, Macs and Android devices. Fingerprints and the password are set up in the Samsung Portable SSD software; after that, a touch on the sensor unlocks your files.
Technologies in plain words
A portable SSD uses flash memory instead of spinning platters, so it has no moving parts: it is lighter, faster and more resistant to bumps than a traditional external hard drive. AES 256-bit hardware encryption means data is encrypted inside the drive itself, so once you set a password in the Samsung Portable SSD software, nobody can read your files without it.
Who should buy it?
It is ideal for business people, lawyers, accountants and anyone carrying sensitive data, and for creators who need speed and security together. The Samsung T7 Touch 2TB price in Iraq is available at Al-Bab Al-Aali.

Product FAQ
How does the T7 Touch fingerprint work?
You register your fingerprint in the Samsung Portable SSD software along with a backup password. After that a touch on the sensor unlocks the drive, and up to 4 fingerprints can be registered.
Which devices is it compatible with?
It works with Windows, macOS and Android using the included cables. The fingerprint feature needs Samsung's software for setup, and the drive can be used unlocked on other devices.
What is in the box?
The box contains the T7 Touch drive, a USB Type-C to C cable, a USB Type-C to A cable and a user manual. It needs no external power source.
Is there a warranty in Iraq?
Yes, it comes from Al-Bab Al-Aali with a full 3-year warranty in Iraq, with cash on delivery and delivery to every governorate.
What if I forget the password or the fingerprint fails?
You can always unlock the drive with the backup password instead of a fingerprint. If the password is forgotten, the encrypted data cannot be recovered, so keep it somewhere safe.
