ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition 80 PLUS Gold ATX 3.0 Fully Modular PSU

The ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition 1000W power supply is a practical choice for anyone who wants stable, clean power for a desktop PC. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification and offers enough headroom for powerful, showcase gaming builds. Part of the ROG Strix family with part number 90YE00P1-B0NA00, it combines an aluminium shell, Aura Sync addressable RGB lighting and a low-noise Cybenetics rating. On this page you will find the full ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition specifications and its price in Iraq, with cash on delivery available.

Design and cables

It uses a fully modular design, so every cable is detachable and you install only the cables your build needs. This keeps the case tidy, improves airflow and makes future upgrades easier. The shell is aluminium with an ARGB strip you can sync with your motherboard and other parts through Aura Sync. It measures 180 x 150 x 86 mm, so check that your case accepts a 180 mm long PSU. High-performance copper pins lower connector temperatures.

Performance and efficiency

Thanks to its 80 PLUS Gold rating, the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition runs efficiently: more of the power drawn from the wall reaches your components instead of turning into heat. That means a cooler case, quieter operation and lower electricity use over time. It relies on large ROG heatsinks and a 135 mm Axial-tech fan with dual ball bearings, plus 0dB technology that stops the fan entirely at light loads, with a button to toggle it.

It supports the ATX 3.0 standard with a native PCIe 5.0 16-pin (12VHPWR) connector rated up to 600W, so modern graphics cards such as RTX 40 and RTX 50 series connect with a single direct cable and no adapters, while sudden power spikes are handled more gracefully.

Connectors

• ATX 24/20-pin x1
• CPU EPS 4+4-pin x2
• PCIe 5.0 16-pin (12VHPWR) x1, 600W
• PCIe 8-pin (6+2) x4
• SATA x5
• Peripheral (Molex) x4

Technologies explained

• 80 PLUS Gold: a certification meaning the PSU turns most of the wall power into useful power for your PC, wasting less as heat, which also means lower noise and electricity use.
• Fully modular vs non-modular: whether cables detach or are fixed; detachable cables mean easier routing and a cleaner look.
• Electrical protections: circuits that cut power automatically on over-voltage, over-current, overheating or short circuits, which matters a lot with unstable grid and generator power in Iraq.
• ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 16-pin (12VHPWR): a modern Intel standard that tolerates short power excursions from graphics cards, with one 16-pin connector replacing several 8-pin cables.

Who is it for?

It suits gamers building a glass-panel PC who want a 1000W power supply with lighting that matches the rest of their parts and full support for RTX 40 and RTX 50 cards.
