ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum ROG Equalizer GaN MOSFET ATX 3.1 Fully Modular Power Supply

The ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum 1000W power supply is a practical choice for anyone who wants stable, clean power for a desktop PC. It carries 80 PLUS Platinum certification and offers enough headroom for top-tier gaming rigs and workstations. It is the latest ROG Strix generation, part number 90YE00W7-B0NA00, built around GaN MOSFETs and an intelligent voltage stabilizer that prioritises the graphics card, with a Cybenetics A+ noise rating. On this page you will find the full ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum specifications and its price in Iraq, with cash on delivery available.

Design and cables

It uses a fully modular design, so every cable is detachable and you install only the cables your build needs. This keeps the case tidy, improves airflow and makes future upgrades easier. The cables are fully modular and made of tin-plated oxygen-free copper, including the ROG Equalizer 12V-2x6 cable that balances current across the pins to limit connector heating. The unit measures 160 x 150 x 86 mm.

Performance and efficiency

Thanks to its 80 PLUS Platinum rating, the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum runs efficiently: more of the power drawn from the wall reaches your components instead of turning into heat. That means a cooler case, quieter operation and lower electricity use over time. GaN transistors lift efficiency and reduce wasted heat, while the GPU-First voltage stabilizer improves voltage stability to the graphics card by up to 45% according to ASUS. ROG heatsinks and a dual ball bearing fan rated for up to 80,000 hours keep it cool, and the fan stops completely at light loads.

It supports the ATX 3.1 standard with a native 12V-2x6 (ROG Equalizer) connector rated up to 600W, so modern graphics cards such as RTX 40 and RTX 50 series connect with a single direct cable and no adapters, while sudden power spikes are handled more gracefully.

Connectors

• ATX 24/20-pin x1
• CPU EPS 4+4-pin x2
• PCIe 12V-2x6 (ROG Equalizer) x1, 600W
• PCIe 8-pin (6+2) x4
• SATA x6
• Peripheral (Molex) x3

Technologies explained

• 80 PLUS Platinum: a certification meaning the PSU turns most of the wall power into useful power for your PC, wasting less as heat, which also means lower noise and electricity use.
• Fully modular vs non-modular: whether cables detach or are fixed; detachable cables mean easier routing and a cleaner look.
• Electrical protections: circuits that cut power automatically on over-voltage, over-current, overheating or short circuits, which matters a lot with unstable grid and generator power in Iraq.
• ATX 3.1 and 12V-2x6 (ROG Equalizer): a modern Intel standard that tolerates short power excursions from graphics cards, with one 16-pin connector replacing several 8-pin cables.

Who is it for?

It suits owners of high-end builds with RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 cards who want maximum safety for the GPU connector together with Platinum efficiency and silent running. If you are looking for the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum price in Iraq with a real warranty, this unit balances quality and value.
